JavaScript | ReactJS | AngularJS | HTML5 | CSS3 | LESS | SASS | Grunt | Git

I’m currently working with a growing agency in the media sector based in central London. They are in the process of building an R&D / Innovations lab and they are looking for 2 JavaScript Developers to come on board and work on a number of projects they have in the pipeline.

They are looking for a confident professional who isn’t afraid to contribute ideas to join the team and add value. Ideally you will have experience with ReactJS and you’ll also be well versed with working in an agile environment.

This is a 6-12 month contract placement set to start in 2 weeks.

Required Frontend Skills

  • Strong JavaScript knowledge
  • Professional experience in at least one JavaScript framework (ReactJS or AngularJS). Note that we use AngularJS; however, we’re moving into react.
  • jQuery
  • RequireJS, CommonJS or other module loader experience
  • CSS fundamentals
  • Git (clone, branch, merge...)
  • HTML 5

Desired Frontend Skills

  • BackboneJS experience
  • Marionette experience
  • JavaScript unit testing Mocha, Chai…
  • LESS or any similar CSS preprocessor experience
  • WebDriverJS acceptance tests

Required Backend Skills

  • Professional experience in at least one backend language, such as: PHP, Java, (JSP), ASP.NET, Node.js or Adobe ColdFusion.
  • Experience with a NoSQL database

Desired Backend Skills

  • MongoDB or CouchDB
